John Lennon's honesty about his human failings as a man, and his embracing of feminism, was a profound early influence on me. He was my first male teacher for how to be a profeminist. I fully credit Yoko Ono with opening him to that consciousness.
John died in 1980, at the age of forty.
Sean lives in NYC, and turns thirty-three today.
