Sincerely.

What I hope for is a world without male supremacy/patriarchy/masculinism/misogyny/sexism. And a world without white supremacy/geographic and psychic colonialism/cultural and political imperialism/economic globalization and poverty/racism/misogynoir.

That's not too much to ask for, right? :)

With the eradication of all of the above, I wouldn't pretend to know what gender might be like but I do imagine we wouldn't have systematic rape and rape culture, normalised battery and domestic violence, organised prostitution and trafficking, the routine experience of cops murdering Black people, the prison industrial complex, capitalism, and corporate media brainwashing us and mass producing misogynist/racist propaganda.

A minor point, but as someone white and male-bodied, I wouldn't even want my own wishes to come true. I'd want the wishes and visions of radical women of color to come true.

What do you imagine gender might be like in such a future?

Julian Realhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02933612851144914687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6744114065733119575.post-84700815499669370152016-12-26T05:30:45.118-05:002016-12-26T05:30:45.118-05:00Hey, brilliant and entertaining article. I play a culturally created, as well as biologically rhymed, "masculine" role in a corporate environment. I have fiance who plays a feminine, heterosexual role.

So thats pretty middle of the road and I can see how that excludes all sorts of different combinations and possibilities. But thats the dance we dance and it allows me to live pretty well in this world.

You want to change that. I'm open to it. What's the world you want to create?
